I tryin to figure out the logic for havin the ports stick out in the chamber, cus I figure the airflow would be affected. Must be a wave phase thing.

well for me i tryin to wonder why they camber out from each other.
and in the last pic i see the camera view is from the intake hole, why wud the first cylinder runner be higher than the last ?
OH YEAH - sure feels like 10 to me.....

That is exactly why they stick out..the air flows into the champers in pulses

You will have to learn fluid dynamics to understand the theories behind the intake designs.

They are pretty much sitting at the same height...but the chamber tapers towards the end to accomodate the differential in pressure and air after the previous cylinders have ingested air.

hmmmm ok well understood.
but at the same time i assume that all cylinders would have the same vacuum over them.

but then again there is a turbo pushing pressure into the intake.
i need to research on that for sure

Guys.. Guys.. When I finally go to study.. one day. lol I will explain everything to you. As Sci said.. something to do with fluid dynamics 8-) lol lol.. Oh but Jason should be able to explain why.. anyways... [hypocrite] [clap]
