i beleive its called compressor surge....

That is not compressor surge

Compressor surge happens when building boost...not when your off the throttle

Q - with the throttle plate closed and the pressure between the turbo and the throttle plate at a high level.
does this pressure acts as a air brake and slows down the compressor, due to the fact that it cant pressurize
the air between the throttle plate and the compressor ?. Now with the shaft on the turbine side connected, what
are the consequencies of the exhaust gasses that wanna leave the engine block ? do these get clogged up and end
up building back pressure within the exhaust manifold ?
