Brand New, Brand New, Brand New.. [rap] ... ok maybe it doesn't look brand new but it is, Its just been in a warehouse for alot of years and probably dragged around just a lil bit. It's an after market OEM replica, made out of plastic/rubber-ish material.

I pulled out the DIff this after noon. Its definitely not LSD :(.. Hey dell according the the counting ring gear and pinion as well as counting the number of spins to make a complete turn on the pinion... I got roughly a 4.55 ratio.. hmm

very good for take off and what the other guy had them on for "burn outs" lol. You know what you got to do songstar. or your gears will be crappy short.

OK, Allu like to see the boring stuff nah?.. lol I can stop posting until I have exciting stuff [thumbsup] .. Allu will let me know... mean while.. here is some more stuff :D.. no not an engine.

Below, as you can see... Body work has officially started. In previous post I did say that the engine bay was gonna be sprayed to start back mounting parts.. but .. like the project goal... Those plans have taken a twist. For now the plan is we gonna spray the entire car minus the front fenders, bonnet, targa, front bumper, back bumper, and lil bits and ends. Basically the stripped body of the car seen in the other pics and later do the other parts separately. P.s. if you look properly you will see on the sides the resurrection of the stock spoiler holes.. was under some fiber glass. Poor thing. They put a big spoiler on you.. yes they did.. doh worry charddy will take care of you baby.

Here we have the corner area of the windscreen frame.. was rusting a bit. What you seeing in the pic is some bronzing. The rust was grind down and it was bronzed with a touch and bronze rod. This would prevent the rust from forming on the steal in the future. Actually both ends on the frame had to be bronzed like this. One side was worse than the other. The tract screws has to be replaced with stainless steal ones.. once i find them.. them tings didn't even look like screws.
GEDC1009.JPG
If you look properly you will see a weld and if you look even more closely you will see a crack. Not sure if the bolt blocking it... but I saw it while i was under the car. This thing is the thing that hold the rear diff. Its cracking in two area's actually. lol.. scary huh?... anyways.. I already sourced one in perfect condition to replace the whole enter thing.
GEDC1014.JPG
and I reach my limit ... will post a pic in the next post.

Alright... here is what the entire thing looks like. It drops down with the rear tires.. rotors and diff... Its a lil dirty but in perfect condition...

If anyone is interested in knowing.. I just hit the 10 Grand mark, last Thursday. Thats right... I have officially spent over 10 Grand EC on this project. Out of pocket. Interesting huh?... The engine alone is 5 grand.. no customs yet.. so thats a guaranteed 15 grand and over.. lol. Projected final cost.. 25 Grand. Judging on the way the money going.... may be more or less. Most likely more. How the fast cash track going again?.. might have to start singing it wii..

Want to know how i did it... WELL.. lol if you remember I always use to have a fresh cut... lol.. boy beard growing.. I doesn't go out... lol bombing ride from work.. Stop buying Chinese food.... Recycling my working clothes steady.. No new clothes for the year.. lol what is clothes?..Paro My PDA.. using a el cheapo... Its a sacrifice.. Sci it worth it.. Shit.. Sci wouldn't know yet..hmm who i can ask nah... Krymaha.. it worth it? lol.. Brain... It worth it?.. So doh judge me walking on the road looking miserable. lol .. [ugly]
