Re: Project JZA80
Hey Dell, I cannot remember where i read this but i to lazy to figure it out. If it was in this thread sorry for bringing it up again. But anways.. I read that the ARisto 2j comes with a hydraulic fan water pump. In the event I not going to use the hydraulic fan, would that mean I would need to get the other water pump (none hydraulic fan one) to replace it?

Yes sir! Failure to change the pump will result in a siezed pump if the hydraulic one isn't replaced with a 2JZGTE USDM PUMP. You have to buy it genuine so you can get not only the pump but the mounting bracket/waterneck. Its inexpensive anyway, you could get a clutch fan anywhere or replace it with two 12" fans

OK, SHE IS ALIVE AND KICKING!!!!!!!
EVO-EATER is back, after months of down time the car is back.... long story short conversion from stock ecu-emanage to Haltech E11V2 went smooothly however...... The supra had other plans. All attempts to start the car was met with loud backfires, cops, super-heated exhaust manifolds, flames, etc
The car was taken to a reputable tuner... still no dice..... After some tinkering the problem was narrowed down to reluctor signal and faulty reluctors.. so ordered 2 cam sensors, and a crank sensor from Toyota (thanks Curt of Elmhurst Toyota once again, also special special special thanks to Rob).. And killab too for constructive criticism we will give u a run and make u cry!!!
Ok now there is still some work left, like anti-lag and two step and fine tuning for 20 and 30psi...
TUning will be done tomorrow or Wednesday
