After the initial Strip down of the bike to assess the Damage, we found out that it was not as bad as we thought. The parts that needed to change were>

1. rear Subframe
2. Wire Harness (we were already going to change this before the accident because of electrical issues)
3. Radiator Fan (we were already going to change this before the accident because it went bad)
4. Stay Bracket
5. Entire Fairing Kit with mirrors
6. Tail LIght

Below are some pics of the Strip down

The first thing we did was remove the Wire Harness for the harness replacement. Which took a while as it was a bit complicated.

Then the New Harness was finally Installed

Update to the rebuild... Harness issues

After mounting the harness back together and installing the airbox, i noticed that there was no connector for the quick shifter which connects to the clutch lever. After doing a diagnostic and going back to the old harness and seeing that it has a connector, i decided to trace back the wires all the way down.

to my surprise, the wires for the quick shifter were cut, so i decided to remove the connector from the old harness and join it to the wires on the new harness. because what is an S1k if you can't use the quick shifter right.

Finally ready to test it.

so we installed the Airbox and tank, finished the connections on the wire harness and put in the subframe section.
The broken tab on the frame was not welded on as yet, but that would get done right after, we just needed the bike to start in order for us to ride it down to the welder. Here are some images and videos of the progress

All the pieces are finally here and its time to put them together.

The fairings finally came and looks good. decided to go with the same setup as before since they were not on that long. Its amazing how a fairing kit can have ur bike looking like shit one day, and spectacular the next. well Guys here is the end result after installing the Fairing kit and finally getting the bike back on the road.

will continue to update you on the build as more parts are bought and more tuning continues. The bike will definitely need new clutches next
