The rb is not as forgiving as the JZ motor is especially the 2jzgte. 800hp is considered average for a 2JZ and most of them are stock bottom end. Toyota is king case close!
i agree with U 100% my boy!! all i was saying is if they had put the RB26 engine in the 350 Z instead of what is in the Z now and tried to pass it off as the new skyline, that i or we would be all happier than the one they going to put out in 08/09
oh Ok, well it is a V6 and V8 revolution them season. Pressure from the west has caused jdm to put stupid stinking v6 and v8 shit in all the good shit.

Things comes and go...the RB engine as well as the JZ engines lived past their life cycle
now hold up a minute! what do you mean life cycle?

yeah well i agree with em. make it the way the customer like. i guess its because of production costs they dont make their version and the western demand version differ as far as engines are concerned. because i would imagine that they would make theirs to their liking with their beloved inline engines and then make the V for their clients. anyway whatever works.

As in it has reached the end of its development cycle where it is no longer cost effective no efficient to continue with that platform...lets compare
Nissan
CA axed in favour of SR
SR axed in favour of QR
RB axed in favour of VQ
etc
Honda
B axed for K
Toyota
well too many to list
Mitsubish
4G replaced by 4B
Remember most of the engines you guys inlove with have been around since the 80s......they have been in production for almost 20 years in some cases.

That is what the customers want, Fuel efficient, easy to drive, good sounding engines. Engineers prefer V engines to inLine engines.
yeah its true because before they were developed, there was a previous engine and then they took over, moved up 1 or 2 generations then got axed for never developed engines, but i still aint know why engineers prefer V to IL engines. i could think up something like center of mass and shaft length issues.
