THE COMPETITORS INTIMIDATION
WE ALL SAY IT TAKES SKILL AND EXPERIENCE TO DRIVE SUCESSFULLY,
skill- ability, proficiency, expertise, cleverness, talent
experience-occurence, know-how, knowledge,practice,familiarity,understanding
THE QUESTION
1) "WHAT IS YOUR MEANING FOR SKILL AND EXPERIENCE?",
2) HOW DO YOU CLASSIFY THE TWO? (BY AGE, VICHLES DRIVEN,ACCIDENTS, RIDE OWNED,CHALLENGES ACCOMPLISHED LIST GOES ON)
WE HAVE HEARD YOU GOT TO KNOW YOUR CAR BEFORE YOU RUN IT.
THE CAR CAN'T INTERRACT WITH YOU, VERBALLY, NOR CAN IT VISUALLY
THE QUESTION
1) HOW CAN YOU TELL WHEN YOU KNOW YOUR CAR GOOD ENOUGH? (TO PARTAKE IN EVENTS)
2) WHAT WOULD YOU HAVE TO DO TO GET TO KNOW YOUR CAR?
A GREAT DRIVER ONCE TOLD ME TO BEAT YOUR COMPETITOR YOU MUST ANALYSE HIM/HER CAREFULLY.
THE QUESTION
1) HOW DO YOU GO ABOUT ANALYSING YOUR COMPETITOR? (MENTAL/ SPYING/ AUTOMOTIVE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/WHAT?)
FEEL FREE TO GIVE YOUR OPPIONS AND QUESTIONS
skill- ability, proficiency, expertise, cleverness, talent

The only way to get to know your car is to drive it regularly and learn its limits together with yours. The car's limits are usually higher than the driver's.
Knowing your car good enough depends on your goals. Good enough for what?

Re: THE COMPETITORS INTIMIDATION
Personally, to me none of them ting matter. The most important thing to me is safety. My well being and the well being of others comes before winning or losing. You push the ride in or on the threshold of your comfort zone. The more you do the greater you extend that comfort zone cause we all know the more you do something the more comfy you get. Safety first cars can fix be replaced but a life is irreplaceable.

1) "WHAT IS YOUR MEANING FOR SKILL AND EXPERIENCE?", For me...skill involves learning, trying and developing different driving techniques. Experience is applying those techniques to different situations and making them your own, Experience is acting instead of reacting to your environment.
2) HOW DO YOU CLASSIFY THE TWO? (BY AGE, VICHLES DRIVEN,ACCIDENTS, RIDE OWNED,CHALLENGES ACCOMPLISHED LIST GOES ON)
well i doh know...i not that "Experienced"
WE HAVE HEARD YOU GOT TO KNOW YOUR CAR BEFORE YOU RUN IT.
THE CAR CAN'T INTERRACT WITH YOU, VERBALLY, NOR CAN IT VISUALLY
THE QUESTION
1) HOW CAN YOU TELL WHEN YOU KNOW YOUR CAR GOOD ENOUGH? well...i considered when i knew any of my vehicles good enough when i could actually predict how the car behaved. I could feel and sense where the car wanted to go and how i can make it go where i want it to. Knowing which rules i can break and which rules will cost me dearly.
2) WHAT WOULD YOU HAVE TO DO TO GET TO KNOW YOUR CAR? Getting out there and drive it. Getting a feel for it. For me, the steering wheel sends back signals...you can feel when the tires are beginning to slip, at this point i can tell Which tire is slipping.
A GREAT DRIVER ONCE TOLD ME TO BEAT YOUR COMPETITOR YOU MUST ANALYSE HIM/HER CAREFULLY.
THE QUESTION
1) HOW DO YOU GO ABOUT ANALYSING YOUR COMPETITOR? (MENTAL/ SPYING/ AUTOMOTIVE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/WHAT?) I start a race from behind...i love following. But then again...if I'm not fast enough to follow then thats that for observing.

SKID YOU HAVE NEVER DRIVEN BEFORE? NEVER EXPERIENCE SOMETHING IN A VEHICLE? NEVER OBSERVED A VECHILE BEING DRIVEN?
IF I WERE TO DROP A KEYS IN YOUR HAND WOULD YOU BE ABLE TO MOVE THE CAR?

Re: THE COMPETITORS INTIMIDATION
lol dont play. ok here's what i know. the more i pushed myself in a slow lil vehicle and handled my gears and learnt the limits of the vehicle the more comfortable i became, however i had to master keeping my cool even when things wasnt working out, say like near misses and losing a bit of control. yeah i managed to work that out and "jam" my adrenaline rush so i could handle my situation properly. am still learning stuff. last thing i did was run in rain and i had to admit i did two things, one was drive my best line, which made me go alot faster than usual and two use my minute knowledge of drifting to keep me on the road. i have been practicing alot with driving my best line and knowing my limits and the limits of whatever poor vehicle i am putting through this agonizing test. anyway, lots more lessons to learn, but my best advice to anyone would be to study the physics of driving and read alot on basic reactions when driving, i got me a thick book with all of that back home. lemme post up a new thread to support good/bad driving habbits. care to join?

I don't like driving in rain either, nor do I like to be driven in rain. I rather just stay home, or drive really really slow
