I'm like posting to myself, but anyways got megasquirt tested on the Stim (small board that simulates basic outputd from a vehicle) everything tested fine, the setup I am doing hasn't actually (DSM ignition/Megasquirt/COP/) been done on any other KA24DE so its a work in progress.

Dell...you've tried out your LM1 yet?

I know some may not see the relavance of my question but...what made you choose the LM-1? i know a lot of people now finally getting into using wideband sensors as they become more affordable, but between brands there are vast differences.

I did a dry run, used a propane torch (not lit obviously) and readings were coming in. From what I have seen they are quite accurate. With the LMA you can get input from several different ouputs such as rpm, boost, etc. I think its one of the best. Their warranty is also great as well as customer support, you get a problem u can take it to authorized dealer, get it replaced or repaired. My friend has an LC1 he purchased used, we had a few issues with it sent it back got a new one. Innovative... used by many a dyno shops.

I am getting rid of the entire ignition system, no distributor, no plug wires, etc. The dizzy will be modified to become a CAS (cam angle sensor), the rest will be done by Megasquirt

To answer your question scientist, the coils don't bolt on or require any boots, they are held on by the plugs and fit tightly into the plug wells like they were meant to be there. Bike parts.. bicycle parts... whatever gets the job done.
