Japanese Performance Mag -- Having driven plenty of tunned Evos over the last nine years on the Uk's over crowed roads, there's little point-to-point difference between a 370bhp and a 500bhp car - you simply don't get the chance to use the power. If you're going for a fast road spec, we recon it's better to gear your spending more towards handling and braking performance, rather than huge power.

Now you know my plan, lol

HIGH EGT

After numerous logging sessions it seems the fuel pressure was low causing the lean AFR also the EGT seems to be bad as the EGT still goes high. But now that I have installed the Fuel Pressure Regulator the AFR has gone back down but not as smooth as I would like to see the curve.

Good news we have finally sorted out the issue of the EGT high temps.

It was the EGT probe, so I am good to go..................................

Now proper tuning can begin I had to back the TPS before 4,000 rpm

Others may disagree with me but I think you should look into a more efficient turbo ...20plus psi should net you some better hp figures. There are many combinations out there that'll have similar spool up characteristics as stock turbo but you'll net more power at less boost.

I am going to Castle Bruce on Tuesday night to get proper 3rd and 4th gear logs from 2000 rpm to 7,800 rpm. Then I will post the new Horse Power numbers.

Re the turbo I agree with you, but I will wait until I am de throwned before I do the next upgrade. Actually better brakes will come first, then turbo.

I agree with ur signature to some extent, 550 would be a bit overkill for d.ca, but in the hands of a "driver" it is an unbeatable combination!
