Project IronMan Swagger Wagon

This project is a continuation or redo of the project Darth Vader Swagger wagon as the Airtrek is undergoing a complete transformation Post Accident. It still has most of the original parts from the previous project minus the intercooler and few other parts.




Car has gone through a bit of rebuilding, changes to Crank and Cam sensor, front mount intercooler and stereo. However due to the timing being off, the pistons broke the exhaust Valves and damaged the Cylinder head and block. Piston was fully damaged and head is not usable anymore.







Intended course of action:
because a new engine is needed, i have decided to build a 2.4L stroker engine with a 4g64 block to replace 4g63 engine it previously had. 1050cc injectors and upgraded big Brake kit (looking at toyota Supra Calipers) and new 18" times in order to fit the new brake kit

Transmission will also be going under the knife to weld the planetaries so that we do not have any issues with the automatic trans in handling power from the engine.

so we had some progress finally with getting a new engine. we decided to swap a few parts form the old engine, such as the throttle body and Evo Cams, along with a few other parts that were newer or recently bought before the old engine blew up.

The tranny also went under the knife to perform the transmission fix to strengthen the planetaries and pins. Right now engine and tranny is back together and we just need to drop it back into the car.
