If Club RX7 is faster than me then thi sis the next up grade below 450
450 crank HP utilizing the ultra efficient GT3071R

The GT3071R - A brand new "450 HP" ball bearing turbo introduced by the Garrett engineers partly to solve our EVO8 dilemna. Wham! It was right at home! The unit complimented the EVO8 engine well and performed to expectations. Boost was seen 700 - 1000 rpm earlier than the GT3037S and only 200-300 later than stock. With some tuning and larger injectors, we managed 375 WHP on modest boost: achieving our goal of a setup that makes 450 crank HP, spools close to stock.

If u wan retain stock looking(stealthness) get the FP Green turbo...which is also the Bushur 20G-9LT

Spools like stock...and outperforms the 3071 overall...the 20G-9LT known to produce up to 450whp on race gas

This is with boost fluctuating at 20-24 Psi because Ecu boost control was used.
357whp and 337ftlb on 93 octane

Here's the dynosheet from Buschurs evo 9 RS and Curt Browns evo when it did 10 sec runs

The car was modified with the EVOGreen Model turbocharger and a larger 3” DP cat test pipe and O2 housing. An ECUTek reflash was used for tuning and a Greddy Emanage was used for data acquisition. No other modifications or changes were made to the car. Everything else remained as supplied by Mitsubishi. No porting of the manifold or turbine housing was performed, these pieces were used as cast.

I agree, I was up until 3:00pm comparing all aspects especially at what rpm boost is seen and also the price. So that's the one if the RX7 can pass me.

Yeah close to stock spool going to be very important, considering d/ca street conditions. Them rx runnig yet? RX7s have quite the ability to spool turbos quickly because of the high temp, high velocity exhaust fumes.
