Project Ambre

Post by Frenchy »

Sup guys,

So moved to martinique and decided to bring my fozzy with me. (Foresters are rare in Martinique).

2003 Subaru Forester cross Sport (Ej 205, SG5)

As of now the forester has;

Cheap after market manual boost controller
Cheap after market boost gauge
Cosworth oil pump
Aqua 17" Rims with 225x45x17 Leo tires
Clarion Double Din dvd deck
4 250 watts audio pipe seal backs
2 10" pioneer 1500 watts Rms each (Subwoofers)
Crunch 1800 watt monoblock amp
Rockford P-310
Soundstream epicenter
Audio pipe 6 Fad Capacitor
4 cheap tweeters

So this is a list of what this forester has.

A list of the future parts in my cart to be installed before summer;

Perrin cold air intake
Good ridge stainless steel brakes line
Cosworth high volume fuel rail
Magnetic drain plug
Innovate SCG-1
Aeromotive 340
Gates racing timing belt kit with water pump and thermostat
950cc Denso top feed injectors
FMIC Kit
18x9.5 + 38 XXR 552 rims
Raceland coilovers
Cusco front and rear strut bars
HKS Super fire m45i spark plugs
Bosh ignition spark plug lead set
Fuel pressure regulator
Cobb tuning accessport v3
Power stop street warrior Z26 drilled and slotted rotors and callipers
St suspension hyper flex system master set (Full suspension after market bushing set)
IAG performance street series air and oil separator
Fp red or green turbo

Voila this is my plan for summer.

In the future i am looking at a 2.5 forged out Stage 2 shortblock. hopefully by january 2019 so that Ambre can take the boat and represent Dominica in St Lucia.

Let the response begin!

The Cobb won't work unless you plan on dealing with a usdm ecu swap (sensors have to swap also)

Well being in martinique one of your other options is ECUTek. Should have a tuner over there that offers it. ECUTek is the only option for the JDM automatic ecus. The manual ecus on the other hand can be flashed without problem.
HKS Super fire m45i spark plugs
Save Money...get NGK plugs instead
950cc Denso top feed injectors
Make sure the seller includes the deadtimes and flow chart with these.
Fuel pressure regulator
Not really necessary at this point, but if buying don't cheap out

Add a set of Impreza STi Sway bars. Will definitely help tighten up the cornering feel of the car.

its fine by me its the same price as the cobb, altho i really liked the display of the cobb seeing i was trying to minimise gauges and keep a certain "Sleeper" vibe, i have 0 rep here so [behhh] [behhh] [behhh] [drive]
