I am of the belief that what I saw done some place in past years of placing smashed cars in certain easily seen areas was also very effective. There's nothing more chilling than seeing a car that has a passenger compartment smashed all the way to about the latter half of the back seat and the engine is hanging out what becomes the "front" of the thing that was a car.

Problem is, I really can't remember where that used to be done. Must be the age and all. Probably on some military base where I was stationed or did TDY.

And hang pictures of those wrecks at the exits of drinking establishments. Nice big, clear images. Of course, owners have to agree to do it. But some countries/states/provinces/cities now have laws that can put owners in a bind if they let a customer go out and drink and drive.
