Ok.....Awhile back I had started to post stuff about one of my projects, GS300, but discontinued by choice. One or two members on here were interested in the progress. Well, the GS300 project is over. The car has been hit 3 times by different people between Sept and Jan. At present, it will be back to almost stock form. The wheels are off and I have plans to remove the head unit, JVC KW-AVX810, from it. The exhaust will stay as well as the aristo strut bar. I'm just gonna put even more miles on it.

The AE86 is also gonna. One of my techs decided he wanted it more than I did and in turn I got his '92 SC300. I will try to post pics of upcoming progress as well as, for fun, the AE86s progress if any one is interested.

that sucks man. was looking forward to the gs3 project. am guessin the sc3 will be ur new project and ur gs3 for dd.

how do you rate the JVC head unit? Is that the model with the removable screen?

Yes sir....the SC will be the new project and the GS3 is the DD.
Got the SC detailed today so I can see what needs to be done. The shell is in good shape. I believe the Dent Wizard (paintless dent repair) can take care of most of the dings. He comes every Thursday. Gonna get the SC aligned tomorrow. Then off to the Junk to see if I can get some misc parts to replace the broken or damaged stuff.
I will post pics of both cars soon.

I give the head unit a 10 out of 10. I researched for months and that was my final choice. Its the only 7" DD I know of with a detachable face. It also has a USB connection, bluetooth and GPS capable. Can also play DVDs and has a slot for SD cards. It also has a 7" screen and the price is really good.....I got mine last year for 500usd out the door.

Did a quick check...the griffin logo is over your budget at $50+. But teh JDM-ness is worth it, yo!

Was hoping someone had them from a wrecked soarer. Yes, they run about 50usd in the US, but from DA i still have to mail it up here. That comes close to the fifty plus wait time. If I pay 50usd in the US then I can get it in a day or two. Thats cool just thought some one wanted some quick $$. I'll get them up here....THNX

I am in the US.....That doesn't mean I can't get JDM stuff. There are alot of importers here who get a kinds of things.

If the price is reasonable I will send the money via money gram.

No but you were talking about mailing parts up from Dominica. Plus the badges from eBay are already in the US.
