still puzzled as to why the roof is damaged

If you look at the 2nd pic you can see a galvanise roof on the ground behind the car. My guess is a sheltered bus stop tried to sabotage the porsche's run by jumping in the way and dropping its roof on the porsche's.

Sheltered bus stop says: "And I would have gotten away with it too, if it weren't for you meddlin' kids!!!"
