yes you can. Titan Motorsports had done an inline 6 4.5, but it was deemed too heavy for use. It did have alot of torque and power.

Re: Project Papi
Project Papi is back online.. updated pics
Got more information on the engine... It's a Chevy 4.8L straight six, Its gonna be mated with a W58 5 speed trans. Paps not to heavy on the speed thing..soo he will not break it the gear box.
The colour white roof was more of for practical reasons rather than looks.. Black attract heat..heat causes potty to bubble up.. not to mention see faults a bit easier. What you think.. put a "Police" sticker on the side of the doors? haha.. Blue lights at the top.

We were having some idea's tonight on how to lessen the transition from black to white.. or vice verse.. I think It should look alot easier on the eyes when its done. Flat Black may play a role.

Re: Project Papi
I was wondering about that car. Saw the 4.8l on the back and it confused me, I thought it had a stroked 1FZ at first.
Did he cut the adapter plate from steel or was it machined? I need to get one done for my W57.

Re: Project Papi
It was cut out of a plate of steal.. a lil thick. 1/4 inch roughly, lined up the holes for the gearbox (without bell housing) and cut out holes for the chevy housing. Between the block and the Chevy bell housing I think he used a plate of aluminum for the sake of the shaft to fit the flywheel (think the shaft was a bit longer than needed to be.. it was more of a spacer kinda..the aluminum peace that is)
....then he machined a lil peace of steal to house a toyota bearing for the shaft of the gearbox to sit in as the hole in the chevy flying/bearing size was a lot bigger..
He made plates for the block to gearbox directly without using other bell housings etc.. for one of his other projects in the past.
Got a picture of the gearbox and the bell housing mated on the first page.
