Re: Project Delilia
I hope that going to be run with electric fans cause anything else just doesn't cut it... well the hydraulic fans are kinda hot!!! but its tough to get all the parts for it with a swap. Electric fans are the best, also reduces drag on the engine....

Yeap.. two 12" fans.. priced them already... with heat sensors.. to turn on at specified degrees... fuses.. etc. Just a matter of time.

Re: Project Delilia
Yes... so today was my b day and I celibrated it by stripping the shit out of a 1jz engine i had sitting there...
Here are some pics.. Also if you got a 1jz/2jz manual please let me know in mm or in. whats the maximum clearance/tolerance for the crankshaft where the connecting rods connect.. hmm noted some slight difference.. but I think its within clearance.. Forgive my lack or proper terminology but my head a lil full and I am tired.
Also.. look at these pistons.. do they look correct for the 1jz..? Have there ever been a naturally aspirated 1jz?

Reasons for stripping... I just have the engine sitting there.. dropping it in Delilia would be a serious cost savor... considering rebuilding it.. but I have not made up my mind yet... but we will see what happens

Yeah there are NA 1JZ. I have the 2JZ manual but I don't have anything for the smaller motor. Be a lil more specific as to what you want. The rods should be labelled mark 1 to 5, that specifies the bearing type and the location on the rod. If this motor spun a rod for some reason. The crank may need to be micro polished and plastigaged to determine the proper bearing thickness for replacing....

JDM rims (Stern)........ganster 4 life.....no magga 18s here.......watch youself. show dem how its done youngster......Thats how you get it done.
Would have like'd to see 19s, but they are not nice on the tyre prices and troublesome to come across in certain sizes....trust me.
