Yea it can be shaved. They only take it down a couple thousands of a millimeter. If it needs to
be shave too much to get it flush. Its not longer good because i believe the valves will start to touch the pistons.
I know the shaving also lowers your compression...not by much at all....but it does lol.

It raises compression because it decreases the chamber volume. Yeah it depends on how far out of spec the head isfingazz wrote: I know the shaving also lowers your compression...not by much at all....but it does lol.

Get that manual tranny swap asap. Honda parts are more than easy to find. Good luck with the project. Little engine with big potential.

I not so much worried about the tranny. Just all the little things i have to get to go with it.
I think i need to find a wrecked manual civic so i can pull all the parts i need. Pedal cluster and
all that. I tried looking for a "kit" for it, someone who was trying to do that set up but quit.
I have not been that lucky yet.

This is the head after it was resurfaced.
The machinist had to loosen up the #3 Cylinder Exhaust Valves.
Because of this i decided to just take apart the whole thing and
reseat the valves by grinding them...as well as clean up everything that can come apart.
I checking if i have it off...why not just do what i can.
