Ten of the Best' is an annual event aimed at finding the best all-round handling, road-legal car in Europe. The event took place last weekend, at the Elvington Aerodrome in Yorkshire, England.
As you would expect, a number of Time-Attack cars turned up to battle it out in handling, top speed and a run down the 1/4 mile drag strip.
The Envy Performance Toyota Supra, ready for its 1/4 mile run.
Neil Wrenn's collecting track furniture on the handling circuit.
Hayabusa powered Mini
A fantastic Ford Escort Mk1, with a Cosworth powerplant. The Escort Mk1 was one of the most successful rally cars of its time. Still looks stunning today.
How about a Ford Granada Mk2 ! This one happens to hide a Twin Turbo V8. Didn't expect that!
This is the sort of kit you'll need if you want to do a 8 second run down the 1/4 mile strip.
Overall podium was a Time Attack lock-out. Olly Clark won the event this year in his Impreza. 1st place for the 1/4 mile and top speed, with 3rd overall handling.
2nd place overall was Clive Seddon in his RC Mitsubishi Lancer Evo
Paul Blamire took the final place on the podium with his Zen Subaru Impreza.

Hmmm.. I wonder if they convert it to rear wheel drive.. to my knowledge different size tires isnt too good for the four wheel drive systems..noo?.. hmm The fronts would complete a revolution much quicker than the rears.. or am i wrong.. hmm..
EDIT... Looking at it from a diff angle here http://www.timeattack.co.uk/latest%20news.html second picture... could it be same size rims and its just the front that is dropped. Either way.. these guys seem to have the wining formula.. lol soo.. they must be doing something right.
P.S. White is sexy eh.. lol lol lol![ugly [ugly]](./images/smilies/bag.gif)
