Re: Project JZA80

Its done, basically waiting for 500 mile break-in so boost can be increased, further. The car runs 14.2psi and tune at 11.5 afr. Initial impression hmmm the clutch pedal is extremely hard, clutch engagement is very harsh basically requiring alot of pedal play tp get something close to smooth. The clutch is also noisy. The car races through the rpms, shift light Needed!! Boost comes in a full 700rpm earlier.

Re: Project JZA80
1. that's not the finished product as u can see the cover is not on the coils, or fuse box
2. Turbo specs hmmm, its a custom turbo, its a GT40 that I can tell but can't give the trim, A/R specs. Its a garrett/PTE turbo
3.Yes Mishi with Mishi Fans and an auto fan controller.
The radiator hose and other rubber hoses are gonna be replaced with AN fittings and steel braided lines. Wire Tuck is a NO on this car right now, the most we're gonna do is remove autotransmission wires from the harness but that will be done when the motor is pulled for complete rebuild

I got something on the drawing board coming, my own car. The motor is definitely a J, maybe 2J or EJ
