not sure how much boost that white evo 5 running now but with that upgrade turbo it has they need to run more boost for the engine to spool it up.remember evo have very low compression.evos i see up here with upgraded turbos run like 35psi compared to other cars like the sti which may just need 25psi to achieve the same hp rating.just my observation.i could be wrong.

Never knew they were low compression.

My VR4 is 7.8:1, a 2G eclipse is 8.5:1. evo 1-9 has higher compression than all of those. Thats why people with my car, 1g and 2g eclipses buy evo pistons

it's only so much boost u can run on low octane fuel in dominica......i doubt the octane level is high enough to run high boost.

yeah the evo 8 has 8.8:1 compression ratio i think that is low.i never said it was the mitsubishi with the lowest compression ratio.

but then again sci could be right cause the freaking 2004 subaru impreza sti seems to have a 8.2:1 compression ratio.lol
