if i wanted higher than 17's i would be more in to looks than poformance

my boy for our road conditions down here in D/ca ,in my opinion; 17'' is best cause if you hit a hole .......... you must cry after you blow out the tire and or bend or brake a rim!! one or the other is bound to happen ill keep my !7's boss ill take more rubber than rim LOL some may feel different about it but for me it better this way

well considering you can get 14x12s and larger in drag radials not really. 2JZ's stock rims are 17x9s and 17x10s also

sci will you stop throwing in random loosely related facts to discredit people??? [wallbash]

They're not drag radials, and we talking about aftermarket 'tuner' wheels. 17s are more common in 6 - 8in widths, although staggered sets are usually 9+ in the back but i hardly see them in 17in sizes anyway

It has been shown that heavier and larger chrome rims reduce your BHP by six to seven ponnies.

I have a HIGH performance BOV too [poom]

most rims weigh around 25 to 30 Lbs my rims for there size weigh 15 Lbs ... any weight loss helps the car espescialy one that is heavy!... all so helps to put less strain on your rear diff, half shafts, gearbox, tranni .... it helps

there is a reason for upgrading your BOV
blower valves helps to with being able to hold high boost pressure! if you want to run over stock boost you have to change it say like what i have <HKS> if you want to go past 14 or 15 Lbs of boost you may want to go to a Greddy BOV and so on ... this is to insure the BOV does not blow or leek air under high boost pressure ! IT HELPS!! [cheers]
