We can consult with other countries to see what they are doing and how they are doing it. Yes they may have more resources than us but we should use what we have to our benefit. Motorsports is entertainment and people love entertainment just look back at the last car show on the bayfront. you just have to give them a product that they will be willing to pay for and be satisfied with.

Tech we've heard the speech many times before. You forget that we did go to the government level when we sent 3 cars to Antigua to compete. Just ask the drivers of those cars for their opinion on how the relevant government organisations treated them coming back to DA.

I CONSIDER ALL OF US AS EDUCATED PPLE IN THIS FORUM -- SOME HAVE A GREATER BUSINESS / STRUCTURAL AND ORALLY FLUENT MIND THAN OTHERS SO EVERY PERSON WORK TOGETHER WE ACCOMPLISH SOMETHING

I HAVE SAID IT CONTLESS TIMES IF YOU GUYS WERE SERIOUS IN DOING SOMETHING IT WOULD HAVE BEEN DONE.

P.S IN RELATION TO GOV'T

MOTORSPORTS IS A VERY VERY INFLUENCIAL ARENA AND IAM SURE YOU ALL WOULD AGREE, LOOK AT THE CARSHOWS AND BIKE SHOWS THAT HAVE WENT ON IN THE COUNTRY AND EVERYTIME WAS MASSIVE TURN OUTS.

PPLE IF THE GOV'T DON'T WANT TO WORK WITH YOU ...LOL THEN WE FIND PPLE WHO ARE WILLING TOO AND TRUST ME WHEN THE WORD SPREADS, SOMETHING WILL DEFINATELY COME OUT. WE APPROACHING 2010 START BUILDING CROWDS AND SUPPORTERS FOR THE SPORT, ONE MAN HAS A UNIQUE VOICE A CROWD'S ROAR IS GREATER ---SOMEBODY WILL LISTEN

BUSINESS IS BUSINESS.

I agree with you.

Its time to stop blaming everybody except ourselves and our will to get up and do something about the situation. This will not be easy but I can assure you when it gets of the ground everybody will jump onboard. We just have to take the lead and be positive. Look around the world and you will see the crowds that follow motorsports, it can be done here but it requires a collaborative effort, no more division among guys.

I guess people may be wondering why I am ranting on an on. I am just so disappointed with the turn out for the island tour. Its indicative of the attitudes which pervades through motorsports here on the island. We all know that we will benefit from the development of the sport but yet some of us sit back and wait for failures to criticize and contribute nothing positive to the effort. What a shame. I will continue to suggest that the people with the influence and access are the ones to spearhead this effort. Just think of what it would feel like to be able to drive your sooped up evo, levein, wrx, supra, skyline, or whatever you drive to the track on sunday to drive the hell out of it, legally. Come on guys we have to do this.

As a further suggestion, I think we should come together and develop a project car that we could send to represent Dominica at regional events. Instead of sending semi modified cars that cant make the grade we would have a monster that would signify to the region that we are not at the bottom of the list in the motorsport arena. I know I will be criticized for this but I think it could work,we have enough tuners here who could collaborate on such a project.

Nah I've always been taught to do that for legal safety.

Tech if you havent started writing the proposals to send in yet then you're doing the same thing every one else on the island does...talk.

I picked up a hint of sacarsm, but thats ok. I am serious about this. I am also speaking to some people about pushing the idea on the inside so that when the proposal reaches it will get a friendly greeting.

If a track was to be constructed on island what kind of track would be preferred andhow much space would be needed for that track? Also what are the possible locations? Any suggestions from the knowledgeable members?
