The blitz nur spec is not the best exhaust in the world. Maybe in your world. How many exhaust have you tried? Or used? I like Kakimoto exhaust, fujitsubo and tanabe. However true runners know titanium is the way to go for light weight. So HKS Ti-Carbon Exhaust is where its at nothing to come close other than a custom exhaust
All you man talk plenty rubbish...yeah the 5-10 lbs you save by having a Ti exhaust is really going to count on a 400HP car that weighs 3000lbs when you running somewhere like DA.
any amount of wieght u can save could amount to a victory whether it may just be a fender lengh u win by.10 pounds saved on different performance upgrades could amount to 50lbs i think thats could make a slight difference.thats y guys guy there cars.
the earth gravitational pull is different in d.ca man. No matter where you are and you have a well built car it will perform. Lol boy let me get a bottle of water , oh my goodness. hahaha My GOD!! Your attitude....
Anyway, every lb counts son ever single pound, especially in d.ca. throw the spare tire, get rid of upholstery in the trunk, smaller batteries (evo 8 type batteries are a good upgrade), seat change, aluminum mounts(yes they also reduce engine movement), just reduce the weight and you will see drastic improvements in acceleration. Performance is not just a single ting its a dynamic. Unless you writing new laws to the book. then again that's why stock turbos are being abused in d.ca eh. lol lol I was there once man. Pushing 20 plus psi on stock twins trying to make power.
I think you misunderstand me...yes it may count of 0.01 of a second but that is only important in drag / full fledged racing. I would think that street racing is different since the cars are daily drivers but hey if I'm wrong i'll accept that. BTW my back seat and all that will NOT be coming out of my car, all the true RACERS can pass me, I'm not concerned.
You'd be surprised. Plus less weight reduces tire wear, improves gas mileage AND enhances your handling. Have you ever tried lightening you car?? Then again making a soarer lighter must be a bitch!!

The heaviest thing in them soarer, supra, etc is that bloody engine and transmission. With the engine out we can push the supra up a slight slop one man in the car one man pushing. I wouldn't be surprised if it weighed in at 6-800lbs easy. the stock twins aren't light at all, the whole contraption should be between 40-70lbs easy. Combine that with the heavy stock exhaust, the list goes on.
On another note they need some of that weight especially when running at 180-220MPH (not KM/H)
