me too, almost everything came out of europe so it was purchases in pounds or euros.

Why did I go to europe? well andy forrest was the start of it all and some of the quality of the roder clark and latteral equipment was so much better than the perrin, ext stuff I had purchased before.

The rotated turbo kit could only come out of the uk due to right hand drive issues if I could have gone to the US for that part of it I could have saved $$$$.

I then wanted a certain turbo that was also available out of the uk only as it had been a custom build for Forrest and to date there has been less than a dozen made.

Finally the cost of bringing Andy out four times for the last year has been very expensive.

Also I now have a spare complete built engine and a tranny and rear end in stock, a spare set of rims and tyres, spare turbo, injectors, msd system and nitrous system so in that cost I basically have another race car in spares if some thing breaks :)

so that amount almost covers two cars ;)

if only I could find a GC8 shell

I just drove from Castries to View Fort on a bus, guys the road is pure heaven. Well there are a few dips that will be felt especially at high speed. But non the less the road rocks.

Maybe I should clarify things a bit.

The Scooby is owned by Jon Watson. Daniel Kessell (my son, not Watsons brother) will be going as well with his modified Silvia S13 200SX. He will probably drive both cars when they are in Antigua (he's a lot lighter, kind of like a Jockey in comparison).

I will hopefully be along for the trip and will elect myself to the position of Crew Chief [notworthy] [2thumbsup]
