
Your chance to go head to head at Canefield Airport
Welcome to Catch me if You can, where any car or bike is welcome to race down the Canefield Runway. You can look forward to two exhilarating days of action including Practice, Qualifying, Bracket races and Heads up Grudge runs.
This event is all about having a great time. As long as your car is registered and adheres to our safety guidelines, any make and model is welcome to join the party.

PLEASE ENSURE YOU READ ALL RULES CAREFULLY!
Rules & Regulations:
- All Drivers/Riders must have a current helmet
- Wear long pants.
- No Open Toe Shoes
- Must have Radial Tyres all round.
- The battery must be secure
- must have a battery-box if inside a cabin.
- 1kg Fire Extinguisher securely mounted within drivers reach.
- Secure driver’s seat and passenger seat.
- Factory 3-point Retractable seatbelts, or 4-point harness is fine.
- Must have a Coolant Overflow bottle.
- Oil catch cans that don’t leak after a run.
- No fluid leaks under the car.
- Front windscreen must be glass.
- No loose objects in car such as a mobile phone.
- Must have factory doors.
- Must run on Petroleum / ethanol-based fuels.
- Must have working front windows.
- Each race class requires a minimum of two cars for Competition
- Please respect everyone as Motorsport is a Dangerous Sport. You are entering at your own risk.
- Timing Marshal has the last say in regard to what is on and off the Runway. No excuses.
Street Class Requirements
- All Cars must be road registered
- Cars Must be No Faster than 12.99 Seconds
- No Slicks or Tires Under 300TW
- Car Exhaust Must Extend Past rear axles
- Car Must have working headlights, tail lights and signals
Code of Conduct:
Behavior of pit crew and their guest is the responsibility of the entered Driver. Any disrupting or abusing staff or other entries will lead to the removal of the pit crew. Any Driver who disobeys runway rules will be given a warning and the 2nd time will be told to park. Please respect everyone at the event as we are all there to have fun with cars.
Government Regulations state there is no smoking on the Airport grounds. There is dedicated areas for smoking. Drivers will be Breath Tested before the event starts. Anyone who attends this event will need to sign a wavier indemnity form of any rights for compensation due to injury and is entering at their own risk.
Motorsports is a Dangerous Sport and you are entering at your own risk. Due to insurance reasons, we are not allowing anyone under the age of 18 on the runway. We are allowing a maximum of 100 Cars to enter this event. It will be a first come first serve basis. Please note that there are NO REFUNDS. If you can’t make it, you may give your spot away after a new car and owner is entered.
Extra passes and guest tickets may be purchased on the day of the event at the gate after signing waiver rights of compensation. Extra Driver passes may also be purchased on the day. The fee for extra pit and guest passes are $30, and $50 for extra Driver passes. Loss of passes means you need to purchase a new one and sign the waiver again. No excuses.
Anyone misbehaving in the town during this 2-day event, such as doing stupid things in their Cars will be expelled from the whole event with no refunds. All details will also be sent to the local Police. Please respect the locals and their beautiful surroundings. This is a beautiful country and the locals are great people.
