1. hp goals

That's an .82 turbo on another KA-T

KA24DE Specifications
Displacement: 2.4 L
Type: DOHC Inline 4-cylinder 4 valves per cylinder
Materials: Cast Iron Block Cast Aluminum Heads
Bore x Stroke: 89.0 mm x 96.0 mm (long stroke)
Compression Ratio: 9.0:1 (1991-1993) 9.5:1 (1994-1998)
Power: 155 hp @ 5600 RPM
Torque: 160 lb. ft. @ 4400 RPM
Redline: 6900 RPM (S13 1991-93) 6500 (S14 1994-98)

The KA24DE is very similar to the KA24E. The only major change is the head design. The KA24E has a Single-Overhead Cam with 3 valves per cylinder, and the KA24DE has Dual-Overhead Cams with 4 valves per cylinder. Other design improvements include the use of a knock sensor, oil injection (oil squirters) at the base of each piston, and top-firing spark plugs. In addition to the increased power and torque, the KA24DE has a slightly wider power band than the KA24E.
VLSD Diffs and gear ratios
240sx W/ LSD: No mods needed if it is NON ABS
300ZX 90+ Non Turbo: Needs new output flanges (4.08)
300ZX 90+ Turbo: Needs new output flanges and gears are higher (3.69)
Infiniti J30 95+: No mods needed (3.96)
Infiniti J30 pre-95: Needs new output flanges
Infiniti M30: No mods needed
Infiniti Q45: No mods needed (3.69)

At the moment, I am sourcing a few more parts, Ford EDIS 4 specifically in order to convert to distributorless setup.
Image

Ford EDIS runs wasted spark from two coil packs which I won't be using rather using COP, with CBR coils and MSD DIS 2. Gonna go pick that up next week from a ford escort or some old ford.

Image

AMS fuel kit once that's done (top feed injectors, fuel rail, fuel pressure regulator, fuel lines fittings..). Gonna begin taking the engine harness out, put in the tranny for the time being, pics will be posted as dismantling begins.

I don't think that T70 will spool at 4k. When I had the T67 on my car, full boost was at 5500 rpm. The smaller GT35R that I have now spools at 4500 rpm. I understand you want big hp, but it's no fun if you can't use it on the street.
