from what i got from the story on another forum....there was a $28,000 bet on the line.
The Porsche owner said it was an unfair race because there was a car in front of him. The Eclipse owner claimed the car in front of him was the eclipse.

it looked like the taxi that had passed just before they started. The porsche had to go to the side a bit but i checking they had cross the finish line already. It looked like the eclipse was ahead the whole time anyway
