Nice....so how does the car feel?

The car feels great right now. I've experience numerous problems since the last install. The PT67 blew before I even made it to the track. Since then it's been one headache after another. When I got tuned with the new turbo, Sean said I needed a new boost controller and the car still made 510whp. It could have been way more but we couldn't get more than 30psi on the dyno with the faulty boost controller.

As for the turbo I have right now, full boost right aound 4900rpm (the PT67 was 5500rpm) and pulls strong and smooth to 8k (8400rpm redline). We'll see what happens next weekend when I try to get some numbers at the track.

The coilovers were my very first upgrade on the car. After 1 week, I couldn't take the harshness of the stock suspension. It's been almost 2 years and I'm still loving them. The ride is quite comfortable and firm. They are only height adjustable which is just fine for me. Tanabe just came out with some new coilovers (the 7's I believe) that are just like the Tien with the electronic control. As soon as I can get my hands on $1700 I'll be switching to them [2thumbsup]

I just put in the Exedy clutch last week. After running with the ACT street disc for more than a year, I found out it was just garbage at the track (it was always locking me out of 4th). The Exedy indeed feels like the stock clutch (pedal pressure wise) but the engaugement is much more firm. If you didn't hear the cluch chatter you would think it's stock just by pressing the pedal.

Yeah i heard about the ACTs doing that with evos at high rpms. Seems to be an evo only incident.

thanks man...thas real helpful info. I also heard bad things bout the HKS twin disc when it comes to evos. heard from a guy in trini aboutthis 11 sec evo that it only lasted him a month after break in....jus basically broke into peaces. He also said something bout ACTs shutting him out of a gear at high RPMS...so i guess its a common thing. I think he has a Spec clutch on his car now..must ask my friend sometime
