I've heard very few good sounding sound systems and tooo many horribly distorted ones.
I just purchased a New car but the factory sound speakers are Horrible, if they were 2 watts i would be surprised the things sound like toys... Kia didnt get that right yet.
I need some recommendations for 6.5" speakers for the front and rear doors.
I'm going with one Sealed Enclosure from JL Audio 10" 4 ohm (trunk space is limited)
Rockford Fosgate Amp w/bass boost 300rms should be good.
The head unit is fine has Ipod Hook up also uses USB Flash Drives so I'm keeping it just using JL Audio Cleensweep to keep things crisp...
Any ideas the speakers for the door would be good.

I had a set of these in my front doors on the supra:
http://www.crutchfield.com/p_1084032CF/ ... tml?tp=102 and they sound really clean. comes with a built in cross over the heights and midrange is crisp and clear... I couldn't believe it was a 4" speaker. So I would only imaging the 6.5" in these would be sound unbelievable.
P.s. They sell cheaper on ebay.

I took the car to a car audio specialist, for about $2000 USD they're going to outfit the car with JL Audio 10" W1V2 in the rear, JL Audio 6.5" Component Speakers front and rear doors, Rockford Amp to push the subs and mids, as well as installation and warranty. Not that I can't do the install on my own, I'm just tired of working on cars, especially mine.. Next... K-Sport Coilovers and 0.Z Ultrallegera (lightweight).

Go Infinity Kappa. You will never be disappointed. Many different options for bass....Kicker has a wide range. The value bass speaker I'd recommend is 10" sub Sound Storm in dual voice coil. If you have money JL audio W7.
