This weekend, STM packed it all up (again) and headed out to Buschur's shop and to pay a visit to Dragway 42.

Dave met us at the shop Saturday and hooked us up with some E98 to replace the E70 we were running in the car and we hopped on the dyno... and the clutch spun like a top! (We think it may be from the track in Fayetteville, had a *bit* of oil come out the valve cover and it may have gotten down into the transmission (but we have a catchcan on it now!) Still made ~650 hp though! Dave really helped us get this car into shape with the tune and new gas... I know his butt had to be hurting from sitting in the most awkward positions all day trying to navigate comfortably around the cage and hold his laptop!

Those Enkei's are a TIGHT fit! they tuck right down!

Later that night we all went to dinner with Dave and his wife and shot the sh!t (Mr. Buschur is one funny guy!) then headed to the hotel for some z's.

Butt-crack of dawn (well, for us anyhow) Sunday morning we met Dave again for breakfast (Skorks? killer food!) and stopped at the shop again to borrow a fire jacket (just in case) and a jack... else we would have been racing on Falkien Azenis (and let me tell you- those suckers rip loose on the street!!)

So, hit the Dragway about noon and Dave helped us out BIGTIME getting this thing to start! It was cold and E85 is a big enough pain in the rear, but E98... evil. And big thanks to Trent too!! Fired her right up! (I learned my lesson though, Dave. I was afraid to go WOT at start, but I'm good now.)

That track was a little *tricky* but throughout the day between Dave and his laptop and Emery getting used to the track and car, and Trent getting Emery lined up correctly in the groove, we knocked off a 9.8 @ 152, then a 9.60 @ 156! Not bad. Didn't break anything, but DID have a fuel issue that we are not sure if the AEM caused or not. Seems to be worked out now though.
