Now how do we get so confused lol. Sci clarification is right and for the time being not looking to upgrade, these were bought simply to get rid of the front right banging in the wheel well under hard cornering and raise the car a little, it was really way to low. The car has been my daily driver for the last eight months and the basics are ok but with the seats the soarer has they would have to be really bad for you to know.

Re: JZZ30
After doing a few runs while the wideband was working and reviewing the footage from the breakfast run, it appears that the emanage blue base map seems to mimic the stock fueling for the soarer. By that I simply mean to say that the tuner increased the timing in regions of the factory map by bending the airflow signal then adding back all or most of the fuel he pulled out via the additional injection map and the acceleration map. Now I added a walbro pump in there which increased fueling even more( the more fuel past the optimum for power, emissions and knock prevention, it then does nothing more than reduce the power output), therefore we removed fuel in both the acceleration map and the additional injection map a bit risky yes without the wideband. I again should remember that it was nothing but a base map to run 17psi and that is really how most base map which are generic work. Safe amounts of timing is added with tons of fuel and then it is adjusted on the dyno. We also tuned down the boost as further modification to the map meant that the boost would spike hard over 20 psi not ideal since the map stops reading at 18. Now rain ended the night rather earlier but on the way to park it does appear more responsive. I usually check to see how responsive it is by noting the max speed over a marked distance.
Now need to replace the wide band sensor once more, as the new one got damage again. I have since realized that for some reason the exhaust system is flexing alot more that before.
Additional bad news is that the turbo is not what is was advertised as (it is a t70 ebay china turbo for somewhere around 200us)
. It was advertised as a Garrett Gt35 internals turbo, as it stands the seller is not interested in doing anything about it stating that he was not the one who made the turbo and too much time has passed, guess it is a buyer beware. Would have been more than happy to swap it for something more useful and go after a real turbo as this turbo is reputed to be even worst than the twins. So now the hunt is on for a good turbo replacement however I think cams will be bought first even if it means the car will be down for an extended period of time if the china man turbo does not do what it suppose to if the twins let go soon.
The plan that is forming and may take years to put together to run 27psi on a 600 to 700 hp turbo running meth with an emanage ultimate. I hope that I really have sard 650cc on the way and that they are good enough for that much boost.

600 - 700 in DA is alot. The blk and white supras are up there in HP and I'm sure they are having traction issues. Is it more of the fact you just want to know you have it? Obx makes a decent turbo i've heard. Just sell the china brand.

Nah 600-700 is troublesome in Da and none of the two supras there yet for me 400 to 550 is good and that would mostly be for times when we have some competition normal would be somewhere about 400whp which should happen about early. 20s with cams.

I would consider the HKS DLI ignition amp and 550cc injectors from the USDM 2j part of the list before the cams.

650cc injectors are already on their way, the Hks spark amplifier will be a bit later when we start having spark blow out issues. If I recall correctly it is above the 450whp that persons begin to upgrade the ignition system because of spark blow out.

Re: JZZ30
Funny thing is the mk3 stopped using the DLi after the engine swap n emanate ultimate. USDm injector swap requires more work thank the 650s he just ordered. The spark amplifiers serve their purpose but non of us are really making anything worth putting them for. A fresh set of coils and proper grounds with gapped plugs will take care of thingsmotion sickness wrote:I would consider the HKS DLI ignition amp and 550cc injectors from the USDM 2j part of the list before the cams.
