MY OPINION...stickers do not necessarily = rice...depends on the type of stickers etc...things aren't always black and white as some of you on this forum like to make it appear. I mean obviously if you have HKS, Greddy etc stickers on your car and you have NONE of their PERFORMANCE parts on the car then obviously that's rice but if you do have their parts on and the stickers are strategically placed then I would not really consider that rice.

Drifting in itself requires a lot of show for points...because part of the criteria is how the designs are placed on the car. They even started doing graphics back to front to earn an edge. Drifting in itself is all about style. its not about being efficient, cause its taking a method of getting around slightly faster in some cases and overdoing it to a point that it becomes just for show.

There are grey areas in it. for me Car show cars are rice because quite a bit of those show cars are not, will not be driven

well to me, the track cars with all the stickers aint there for show, its all advertising. plus, we forget that most of the rice involves fake parts, like fart cans and knockoff mismatched body kits, poorly chosen wheels, hood scoops which serve no purpose and rear wings that dont help but needlessly create downforce that aint needed. so all the fruity paint jobs which are all choice and retarded vinyls that dont flow which got nothing to do with performance dont seem rice to me. i aint seen any track car with retarded decals and vinyls, all of em are done artistically not laid out indiscriminately with no objective in mind. ask damien. fitting vinyls is an art. common man, the show was bout eye candy not engine mods. still i thought they woulda hit it harder with looks if it was all about show.

my issue with show cars is that customisation can be SO wild now that anything is possible...look at the Alpine rides for example. But would you consider THOSE rice???? I think not. Skid gave an accurate explanation of what 'rice' universally means. Yall just like to stretch it cus Dominicans eat plenty of it [insert starboy/cee anti-honda response here]
