Ok. Its been a while.

I have been working lately getting things in shape. Trying to make my desired road date. I haven't been snapping pics lately. But I can give a written progress report..or something that resembles one.. vaguely.. if at all.

1). ECU and wiring harness have been placed in their final location through the firewall. For any MKIII owner doing this swap out there.. It's NOT EASY getting them big 2jz IK1/2 and E10 and E9 plugs through that tiny whole and passage way. Do it b4 u put on you dash board. But it is possible to do it with one.

Additional notes: The ECU had to be relocated from its tradition location in the dash to the bottom of the dash near the passenger feet. (got pic on my camera will post in fut.) The ECU is so large.. its "impossible" to get it to fit under the dash. Since I was not going to cut and extend the harness...it was my only option.

2). Drive shaft was installed..actually started to release on the clutch in first gear.. and the car wanted to leap forward..that was cool. I am going to have my father reposition the car in the garage soon (closer to the garage door for June 1st.).. driving on its own power.tum tum tum..(might make a video.. hmm "first drive"). The car is in a tight location between pillers.. and I not confident enough to take it out of there... Experienced drivers like paps.. easy japanizzy the dude is amazing.

3). Sourced an exhaust locally.. Its an Apexi Dunk.. or something like that.. anyways.. In the cost cutting effort only the CATBACK is 3" the Down pipe is 2.5.. this reduced cost significantly. I will take pics of the Fabricated DP. The DP consisted of a flex pipe and 2.5" resonator salvaged from a stainless steal exhaust. [ninja] .. It's not the shiniest DP in the world but it was home fabricated. Only thing is the bend on it was crush bent. But it will do for now.

4). Despite my recent purchases.. I have decided to go with a Hydrolic fan. (how ever hydrolic spells.) While the Electric fans cooled. The Hydrolic fan made a tornado. 2JZ-GTE water pump for sale.. none Hydrolic. The fans already have a prospective buyer. Will inform accordingly. Soo..moving on, I sourced a hydrolic fan from a V8 lexus I think.. Damn thing is HUGE.. and it had to be modified to fit... unfortunately I am having major clearance issues.. The water pump pulley bolt is about 2mm away from the hydrolic motor. The fabrication was priceless.. none noticeable mods.

Unfortunately bcuz of the clearance issue it has to go under the knife again.. not sure how that is gonna work out. Should have really taken pics of everything.. sorry guys.. next time. ahhh.. will keep you guys posted.

Really looking forward to starting my IC piping this month. My BOV choice is Tial. Aesthetics on the damn thing is pricesless. Sard lovely sound.. but.. too ugly. [love]

So far I stayed true to my goal outlined on the first page of the project. Although I stepped it up to a 2jz last minute..hmm 18" rims wasn't part of it. Besiding these minor changes.. The project plan outlined is the same. And sadly Delilia may not have much time on the road as I may possibly be leaving to go study..hmm maybe this year. SOOO.. this is one of the major reason for the cost cutting. Atleast squize a 2 to 3 months on the road out of her. It wasn't a pointless project.. It was always part of the plan.. lol Just a lil bit harder to doo.. in reality. [wallbash]

lol basically the car is finished. I just waiting for money to by parts well just a BOV.. hmm boost gauge and wideband..and I done!. The bumpers might spray tomorrow.. So that will be on soon. So.. its like just waiting for Road date to reach [hypocrite] and.. I dont have other rims to use man.. I need to drive it back and fourth to get it out of the spray dust.. when spraying/space to work in the garage...etc.

Unfortunately the wire for my water temp sensor to turn on the fan.. hmm was hanging and got caught in the tire..and burst.. hmm minor set back.
