The Begining

Removal of Front Sump Oil pan

Rear Sump Oil pan installation, Paps hand doing some last minute stuff.

My second Hand flywheel. Skimmed surface..

My pressure plate.. which i suspect is extremely hard.. hello muscular left leg. and clutch. The pressure plate was skimmed to. I am aware of the precautions and it was well done. Paps does kinda shit ery day. All things were taken into considerations.

Mounted.

May not be the most cleanest.. shiniest R154 out there but it's my R154.

Fully Mounted

And this is where the pain and frustration started... STUCK.. lol word to the inexperience.. don't put in a 2jz into a mk3 with the mounts bolted on.. of with the cylinder head for that matter.

But.. We finally got it in. The product of this weekend.

FACT: Twin turbo 2jz-GTE can fit in a right had drive MK3 without have to touch the firewall.

lol don't know bout May 3rd.lol The amount of money i have to spend still to get this done.. hitting home too hard! (no fastcash offers please [dwl] )

Anyways.. Small update over the weekend. Got the body harness tidied up (Still need more tidying in the future but for now it good) although i didn't hook up a battery to test it. I believe everything should be in order. I hope.

Installed my drive shaft. Anyone doing this swap into a mk3 should note that the R154 gearbox has a special drive shaft. The splines of the shaft to the gearbox is bigger than the W58 gearbox. And also its longer than the automatic drive shaft. So yes.. you NEED a R154 drive shaft to do this. (Ironically though the size of the splines on the automatic trans for the 1JZ are the same as the r154.. its just too short!)

Sounds like a lil bit of work eh?.. lol that's it. You would be amazed how much time them ting taking.. it does amaze me.

Looking to start the engine for carnival :D No camp this year.
