the turbo doesn't have a 4.5 outlet. Lol Who said that, the intake manifold throttle body is 4.5", swallows the 4" pipes we bought for it. We just gonna buy and adapter 4.5 to 4"

Ignore the clutter in this garage, new baby, and bunch of tools everywhere.

Quick view of the interior, AEM Uego on the dash, oil and boost pressure are in the dash, over on the windshield is the police detector lol.

this is the -8an Y coming from the -8AN fuel filter going to either end of the fuel rail

Then the two -6AN fuel feed lines.... going to the Filter from the pump.(N.B this isn't a kit, please don't send emails asking where I bought the kit, this is all custom)

Dual fuel pumps feed each fuel line to the fuel filter.

The intake that took over the engine bay, removal of the oil filter is gonna be a bitch hopefully the oil filter relocation will be done soon.

Brooooooooooopppppppp, the TPS is 1/2" away from the power steering pulley grrrrr

Sard bitches!!!

Toyota Genuine parts

Goodies from toyots in the big boxes, V160 6 speed in the blue box and tiny parts like pedals in the red, and driveshaft in the long one. More pics to come and fly by video once it done.

Very nice, If this question seems stupid please ignore my ignorance.. But what are the benefits of that type of intake manifold, does the short runners and bigger plenum really make a difference.. even under stock boost? I think I have my terminology right.

Re: Project JZA80
yes they make a difference, inside the intake a velocity stacks which help with breathing. Its useful when running a big turbo since these bigger turbos don't run out of breath in the top end as do stock turbos. SO I'd say better top end, better flow, bigger chamber for more air. Bigger throttlebody also provides less restriction for incoming air. Yes it feels different even under stock boost.
