ok instead of that "Round" set up, how bout using a ladder. That's how we do it at ESL (Electronic Sports League). Everyone starts out with zero points and a certain number(5) of challenges they can make to others. One can be challenged by anyone. Backing down from a challenge is an automatic loss. The way they run it is you climb the ladder based on your losses and wins.

WIth this setup anyone can challenge or be challenged by anyone. IMO that is better than predetermined matchups.

I disagree completely because why would I want to see an Evo vs a totally out classed "teg" in the later rounds? Get rid of the slower cars first I say!
