Thought the DA scene was small and had so many shows. gosh! As to add confirmation to the performance parts thing with duty free i dont think it works that way. You gotta have proof that you have a full race car setting or building up. We are currently working on changing the previous association to Antigua Streetz. I do know for a fact that all race cars brought into the country came duty free though. Some people even brought nice clean civics and turbo starlets at the port and got them out duty free because they said they were gonna race.

well it not so in dca, if I was to send down my 240sx them man want to charge 20% duty I hear even if it supposed to be duty free. Fucking apes!! I got the car for less $400.00 they might want to charge for parts that mounted on it.

YOU SEE THEY DON'T WANT TO ENCOURAGE PPLE LIKE YOU AND ME TO GO HOME TO DO NOTHING,,,
THAT'S WHY I AFRAID TO BRING MY EVO X DOWN THEY GO CHARGE ME MY ARMS, LEGS AND BRAINS TO TAKE IT OUT,
OH I UNDERSTOOD THAT IF YOU AWAY FROM D/CA FOR MORE THAN 5 YEARS YOU AUTOMATICALLY GET DUTY FREE? MY OTHER QUESTION IS IF I LIVING IN STATES AND ORDER MY CAR FROM JAP WOULD I STILL GET THE DUTY FREE? OR DO I HAVE TO HAVE THE VEHICLE IN STATES TO GET IT DUTY FREE?

No....once you get the duty free application...any vehicle you purchase, whether locally or internationally will be given duty free.
And its one vehicle per lifetime

sucks, might as well get duty free for a ride japan and the 240SX would be a lil easier pill to swallow under duty, if push comes to shove
