well i gonna stick to the topic, what fellas have against hondas? opinion-its overhyped because of vtec which isnt in any way a replacement for displacement or boost. *end of comment*

my padna had a honda vigor, and his rave wasnt about top speed, he raved about the amount of fun the car is when it comes to handling, braking, difficult maneuvers and excellent fuel economy, and it wasnt vtec. anyway, his raving was well worth it because everything was true. preffered the vigor and the legend to the vtec toys. so if it have anything i aint like about honda is not honda itself, but the rave bout vtec, when there are hondas without vtec out there doing better.

allu can say what allu want buh as far i concerned NO honda passing me in Dominica. If they were sooo good how come those that supposedly boosted yet to make a name for their self. Honda good honda deadly go and tackle daryl, go after Evo man, when stayboi was there as him if any of them boosted hondas pass him..

well man i guess its a longer road for the N/A cars join the boost club and then start climbing up past the normally boosted cars dont you think? what i cannot get through my head is that, why dont people rave about vvt-i and mivec like they do about vtec?

I not going to lie, one day two hondas pass me as they were racing each other...needless to say I chase them down in less than no time and pass them back. Need I really mention I was cruising when they pass me. But one thing I have to give them, hondas are some REAL PRETTY cars. That's why if I ever get married and I have money, my wife will have an S2000.

atleast thats an honest claim right, they look great and have "the sound of performance"

N/a cars have a place and given the Right approach can dominate on the street. Boosted cars lack the response that N/a cars have.


Now as for vtec. Skid as an enthusiast you should appreciate vtec for what it is and how it differs from other companies.

Toyotas VVT doesn't offer any significant performance improvement over the non vvt engines...reason its not boasted about. and its not found in their main performance engines.
VVTi, which is different has its limitations, and its limitations is where Vtec has its advantages.

Mivec isn't marketed as hardly as vtec is...notice how few mitsubishi engines actually employ it. and the last 4G63 incarnation only included the vvt type version of mivec.

I have ridden in both Vtec and Non vtec variants of each cars. the vtec behaves just like the non vtec engines when they are off vtec, makes same power etc.

yeah i posted that vid sometime ago. But if u notice...a lot of the interior of that civic is missing + its wasn't a stock K20 niether was the evo modified.

But a decently built K20 in a light chassis EF or EG will give quite a bit of modified evos trouble, esp on top end
