I think 530whp on c16 is possible. The GE motor is very similar to the GTE. I believe the pistons are different and there are oil squirters for extra cooling. Thick enough head gasket...no probs.
Let me know where I can get one $1200 complete cause I'll get them the money on Friday.
Bro do the swap..........yes you can, yes you can, yes you can.....In boost we TRUST!

Yo, just re-read the post and you said you were thinking on going NA-T. I also thought about it too. My advice is weigh the complete costs of both routes. As far as I've seen a decent kit is about the same amount for an engine set. Just something to consider.

Friend did 530whp.. on 2jzge. hmm.. What octane/type of fuel he running in it? Is it still running?.. is it a daily driver?
C16 race fuel. The car dosen't drive everyday.
As I thought.. things we don't have do/have D/ca, all JZ owners need to take that into account b4 the attempt em things... I swear if i hear another stock internals story on a 2jz in Dominica I heating the person with a broom stick.

i personally i think u should do the jdm 2jzgte instead...that's how i want to go on my aristo. And i prefer working with the map sensor compared to the air flow meter.

Het b20 how did you get an Aristo front end with no motor?

Get a 2JZGTE VVTi motor, from an Aristo V300 the rest is basic, it plugs right in no wires to splice and stuff. Both engines are essentially the same electronically. Ecu is mounted in the engine bay doesn't get easier than that.

Bro, there are parts flying all over the place for these cars (Gs). JDM parts are easy to come by. The only problem with the front and rear bumpers like mine and B20s model is you need the JDM crash bar for both especially if you want to add JDM body kits. USDM crash bar is thicker.
I believe your model has the same bumpers as the JSZ161 Aristo so no need to change. Also, its even easier to get parts for your car and they are cheaper in some cases. For example. a roof spoiler for my car is $300 and I know of only one company in the US that makes them. There are many apps for your car. You can get Tein S.Tech springs for you car, they don't make them for JZS147 (93-97). Most of the Supra stuff will also fit your car like the upper control arms, but they won't on the older model. Other things do fit both cars like the 4 piston LS400 or Supra brakes both front and rear.
As for the VVTi plug-up deal I'm not sure about, but that motor is about twice as much as the non VVTi and most tuners in the US are unfamiliar with tuning them. The VVTi system gets in the way. HKS does make a cam and controller for it, but it costs $1200. I honestly believe thats the key to making power on that motor.

There are other options besides HKS.
You can just get a Power Enterprise CAMCON or Greddy V-Manage if u want piggy backs + Brian Crower VVTi Cams. The HKS limits u to the amount of lift etc you can run. The Brian Crower VVTi cams are a direct drop in. Just requires slight degree change like every other cam on the market to make sure its 0'd out and the car will run perfectly even without a cam controller.
The VVTi system gets in the way if you have a lazy tuner. Look How much other tuners for other platforms are Loving them. And how easy some of the other people are beginning to make power with them.
