i was told the same thing by the owner this morning but i didn't want to say it cause persons like starboy would say to many excuses. But to my knowledge....when ever evoman races the evo 5 he is suppose to get a head start cause the turbo is way small to get a faster spool and the evo 5 turbo has way more lag...but it will return(very soon)

Yes all this was true. I dont think of it as an excuse either...it wasnt perceived as a problem before. BUT, the competition was underestimated - if not he would have taken more practice in the Evo 5 to compensate for the lag, gearing issues, etc.

I don't believe in getting a head start though...he should have had enough top end to catch up. It would be interesting to see the 2 run a road course as opposed to drag racing. Who do ya think would come on top in that case????

interesting that you should ask that cause that was also a topic of discussion. It was felt that the evo 5 would be at a disadvantage due to lag as compared to evo-man..

here is an update of the car.....it's driving but it's just missing the front grill, emblems and yesterday one of the fog lights fell off the Florida's turnpike.
