i know the turbo like the cold weather but in NYC you can barely punch it on the icy roads......that's why i like my florida ehhh....when it get cold we don't see ice.....so we can beat on the car and still not be afraid of sliding

We had a run against a N/A saturn with built high comp engine with cams, custom headers and shit. We still waiting for him hahaha. But yeah it don't got to be snowing to f*ck you up. Any puddle of water on the road side just fucking freezes, black ice is a bitch with claps.
More videos to come, engine management will be installed soon.. coming week so we can go above 110mph

you swapped in an aristo engine? was it N\A before? I know its a 2jzgte but aint there lil difference between an aristo 2jz and supra 2jz?

alot of differences, but more similarities.
1.The supra is rear sump oil pan, aristo is front sump.
2.The supra wiring harness is more complex than the aristo's wiring harness. No one here, well that I know of recommending using the aristo harness in the supra they said it wouldn't work, but I'm running the aristo harness. Aristo has 2 harness plugs for the ecu and 1 to the body harness. Supra has 2 for the ECU, and about 6 for going to the body harness.
3.The aristo, and jdm supra has 440cc injectors and map based ecu set up. USDM has MAF sensor
4. aristos come only in auto, the transmission is basically the same as an auto supra with the exception of the tailshaft flange. Aristo is 3 bolt 3finger setup, supra 4 bolt circular flange. Had to learn that the hardway luckily it just swaps.
5.The Supra motor mount brackets are different from the aristo.
6. Turbos are different
Thats about it from what I can remember off hand. The red supra we purchased as a TT shell. Just car with interior and stock wheels, no engine wiring or ecu.

are you some private tuner specialist? internals should be the same right? also other stuff like water pumps, fuel pump etc. just wondering, when doing an auto --> manual swap, is it a must to change the ecu? or would the ECU learn the manual.

Ummm the water pump is different. Aristo has hydraulic fan system on its water pump but u can install a Supra water pump which has mechanical fan. Internals are the same. When doing an auto-manual swap u can keep the auto ecu, but its gonna pull timing. You'd have to have some piggy back or something to tune it proper. You'd also throw a few tranny codes (flashing O/D)but you could pull the Over drive bulb from the dash and not see em again.
The 2JZ has a fancy ecu, in fact when we just got the motor it could not idle. I got it to start by blocking the idle air control solenoid with my finger and allow only some air to get in. I was told by a buddy of mine that the ecu had to relearn the idle. I guess that sounds far fetched but he was right, it needed to learn where exactly the solenoid was then after about 4 days it started idling good.
