Last weekend we placed the old bonnet on the car, to line up the front fenders. The rest of the car hopefully should be sprayed and finished before this month ends. Here is a pic of what it looked like.. brings back memories?

Just a lil update.. What I been up to lately..
Can remember that crack where the diff was bolting up.. I didn't replace it with the other one i got.. just to much stress right now.. already overwhelmed with the work I do have to do. If it cracks again.. when the car is running.. maybe then I will do it. But either way.. here is some pics of it welded up .. grinded down.. and painted.. forgot to take pics b4 paint.
Mounted up my LSD diff yesterday as well.. Many thanks to Berky for borrowing me his jack.. without it putting up the diff would seem impossible.
In case your wondering.. Every single bolt was torque to spec.
Here is some work that no one will ever see once its mounted in place but I thought I would show you guys.. this is the part that the bonnet latch bolts on to. I guess after years of twisting and hard running on the road stress began taking effect... It was cracked up etc. anyways.. here it is..
And I saved the best for last.. Here are some of the pleasant suprises you should expect when you buy an 18 year old car... lol... it's gonna have to be .. taken care of.. Chard exhales.. thats the supporting metal of the nose peace.. the part that holds the toyota emblem../.. you know..

..
as always.. I will keep you guys updated as the progress keeps coming along. P.S. Never use bernuth for nutting.. My goodies haven't arrived to Dominica.. over a month now.. lol .. Just some useful advice.. from one friend to another.

And the Saga continues... Alright ladies and germs.. ahh.. continued body work.. lol longest body work process ever? ... ya.. well keep in mind its solely me and my father doing the work.. just a couple hours on Sat and Sunday.... only..
But I got some pics..and I going to like totally post them.. alright.. a few updates..
Finally started work on the bonnet I will be placing on this car.. rather than the ones with the vents.. I just not feeling the vents..among other reasons.
.. ahh.. will show you the step by step process to completion.
Also started on the side fenders..Spoiler etc. In this phase we are really aiming to complete the major peaces... see how much paint we got left after this and then do the lil peaces for example the side strips/body molding.
Weather Stripping.. lol Some of them.. there's more to be done..

.. some of the ones in black has to be redone again.. bcuz it was raining.. when we sprayed it and it just ... shit up the whole colour.. .. another coat....
Yeap.. also rebuilt my Clutch and Brake master cylinders before I mounted em up.. here are some pics.. lol just fa showing shake?
Clutch

Brake
Suspect the brake cylinder leaking a bit..hmm not to sure yet.. but still monitoring it...
The top half of the doors of the car has to be resprayed as well..it looks ok.. but from some angles.. you see some serious.. inconsistencies..ahh.. if it can be done better.. why leave it worst ?.... it will never be perfect.. but how it is now can be done better...
I managed to source a dashboard with Zero cracks... isn't that cool?.. (don't ask me where and how)
Its.. dirty.. I know... ahh.. only pic i got of it for now.. one day I will be amarolin (spelling?) that shit..
