2k miles is not a lot. Get the 280 cams and I hope a reflash/retune is part of your $1k budget because you will need one.
Retune $125.00 part of the bueget.
Damian when it starts to smell I will place the order.

Robby since you haven't been drag racing I don't see hard launches being an issue. Or am I wrong? Do you drag race yourself?

I think d man wanted to say 210 kmh on the parkway which is fast too..131 mph... what most cars cant\'s do.
But really 210 mph..that sounds like when man testing those jet cars in the desert...lol although some street cars have that top speed too but still..."on the parkway!!!!

Fortunately I have not done that, as there is not competition for such racing. I have only done a few 1/4 mile run after major upgrades or tunes to get the times. For horse power calculations I do pulls in all gears from 2000 rpm to 8000 rpm.

heh i just realised that your budget is 1k.. do you really care about idle alot because there is alot more power to be had.. there have been many good results with the jun cams set that comes with springs and all.. i think ams got like a 50 or so hp improvement by switching to them from hks 280`s

Bad idling is an issue, with my BOV venting into the atmosphere I already have idling issues, but I can allways put it back inside. I will read up on the Jun Cams. Thanks for all the great data.
