Re those who did not participate, I am sure next year they will. I also hope the sponsors will be willing to give cash and real prizes so that more will want to take part in the field they feel they are strong in.

All negatives about the show will be discussed later this week to make the next event better.

To date this show has cost $47,500.00

do you think we could charge more for the next show? If yes how much more.

AUTOMOTIVE AVENUE - PRESS RELEASE

We would like to thank all patrons of the event, the organizers, and the persons and companies who were willing to sponsor and take part in our event. Surely, without your patronage and assistance the show would not have been a success.

Cars, bikes, buses, pick-ups, remote controlled cars, stunts, smoking tires, cotton candy, models, music and a massive crowd with smiling faces gathered on Sunday at the Dominica Air and Sea Port, as motor sporting enthusiasts island wide gathered at the first ever Automotive Avenue car show.

Participants competed in a wide range of events judging, interior, exterior, engine quality and sound, with highlights of the show being a tire burn-out competition, and bike- stunt displays from locals as well as guest riders from Guadeloupe which sparked waves cheers from the crowd.

The show catered to all groups, with an action packed, fun-filled, family atmosphere that patrons and participating sponsors took full advantage of.

Organisers intend to make Automotive Ave an annual affair; and plans for similar and more spectacular events of this nature are well underway.
