what about what i posted makes it look like i was "acting on the man"
i dont know the guy
again i was just pointing out the obvious....i knew it would eventually be moved

Scientist I don't know if you moved it yet, but thanks I expected you to so I didn't say anything. I will let him know to post his intentions. I don't know where he wanna go with it yet.. but I drove it, and for a car that has serious boost leaks I find it extremely responsive...for a 7M-GTE. I have high expectations for it.

well as of now my intentions r to fix the minor gliches which the car has such as boost leaks along the intercooler piping.so im getting an intercooler with a 4 inch core.
hp wise i think 450-500whp is achievable

things im gonna do to the car
-convert from distributer to independent coil system
-custom 4 inch exhaust(turbo back)
-tokico coil overs
-megasquirt engine management
-more aggresive cams(for now im gonna put the
n/a supra cams for now to see how that works
-upgrade turbo (t70)
-most importantly fuel system(pump/injectors/regulator)
-hks metal head gasket with arp studs installed already
for safety issues regarding the 7mgte

You don't need a 4" exhaust. It would be much easier to buy a 3" exhaust than to make a 4" one. Just trying to save you a little work and headache. Good luck with your project

thanks for the advice.will research before i do anything.my boy skyline in dominica had a 4inch exhaust if my memory serves me right and it didnt fell like it was holding back the car one bit so i felt y shouldnt i try the same. if im wrong about the exhaust size the person from the west coast who bought the blue skyline could correct me.thanks again smokey for the advice.ill keep it in mind.
