Let me show allu a science...i only read half the posts eh..but um...300 is the shit. I saw it when it premiered. Let me tell you...the movie cinema on city walk at universal was swarming wit ppl. all the times was sold out. haha. And we went to the 1.15 am show..that is how ruff it was. And that time was sold out too. Anyway, they had to show the movie in two theatres at the same time because it was way to many ppl hahaha...lol. That movie is it for 2007. None other can touch it. If you have to break it down, you'll not only see the controversy between Persians and Greeks as the article stated. You'll also see that they sterotyped White as apose to "minorities" as the dominant race.The opposing side was filled with all possible races, whereas the army of 300 were strickly "White" "body builder type guys" Clothed in only red "capes" and watever piece of underwear dey had on, lol. If you look at it, it stressed the all to familiar: "White power". But honestly...
The movie was just for entertainment purposes...and it was mad sick! I was feelin' all violent wen me and ma fwends left. Haha..and we going to see it again this saturday. You cannot just watch it once nuh..sorry. Haha

Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer also looks like it has a lot of potential.

I'd like to agree with you but I find X-men (2 and 3 anyway) and Spider-man were well executed.

Just to add I went to see Transformers, and seriously that was a sick sick movie. They did it as in the cartoon, even better
