based on info around...the race on race gas, the Alpha 12 won...and they are battling over posting it online.

Now also...Best motoring put the 2012 GTR against the ZR1....and had a much different outcome...the GTR didn't stand a chance

GT-R is cheaper than the ZR1 though.

Depends....

ZR1 can be had for 100k walking into the dealer

GTR...~95k IF you aren't being gouged. If the dealer decides to gouge you they sometimes sell for over 100K

Well the ZR1 is lighter, has 70 more HP and has more cyls. I would hope its faster. Like I said, I'm waiting for the Spec V based on the 2012 GTR. I would like to see how a Spec V compares to the ZR1.

Current GT-R Premium starts at around $90,000 in the US, it actually costs more in Japan.
Black Edition would cost more if the ZR1 avoided dealer hikes.

I would pour everything I have into getting a GT-R if I could

Checked around and found out the 2012 Spec V's specs are marginally better than stock, just like the pervious. It is said Nissan is concentrating on handling more than overall HP. I'm disappointed. They have to kick it up about 30-40 HP along with the handling to start beating down the LFA, ZR1 and upcoming new Viper, which all have bigger engines. Just give it a nice exhaust with a tune like Amuse did. Let the stock GTR fight the porshe and Z06.
