Because its an auto they are trying to work out the bugs in the transmission. The stall converter messed up the launch, that's why the car moved off the line so sluggish. AS i mentioned earlier they are working out the kinks in the transmission

Wait a minute.. on a second look.. this thing has two fuel rails.. 8 injectors.. .. hmm fail safe.. or .. to reduce the duty cycles on the primary injectors at WOT.. or... hmm hmmm... thats not a wet manifold setup or hmm.. sparked my interest anyways... near the plunum... higher up the runners.. thats not efficient... is it.. anyways.. sci.. feel free to expound. lol I bet somebody in this forum has the explanation.

you answered yourself...the lower the overall duty cycles. the car has 8 1600cc injectors and isn't running on gasolene. it requires a lot more fuel (E95) to air than with gasolene so a single set of 1600ccs wouldn't provide enough fuel.

Thank you for your interest in our project! We had some torque converter issues at the track this day, but decided to make some shakedown runs anyways to see how it would hold up. We are very happy with the results in regards to MPH, and with some nitrous to get it up on the stall I think this will be one mean street car! In regards to the dual fuel rails and (8) 1600cc injectors, as mentioned before, we are running E98 which requires significantly more fuel. We are also running dual A1000 fuel pumps ;)
Again, thank you for your interest and look for some updated times in the very near future!

Very Nice.. Like the project. I can only imagin it took a while to get to this stage, hope the desired stages reach with minimal fustration. Bcuz that part sucks.
