I'm rapidly losing respect for Toyota. Look at all the new Lexus cars, they all look the same. Toyota is trying to bring back icon cars, but their half ass attempt is going to damage the icon status. Example, FT86

..speaking of the FT86.. I have come to the conclusion that 4 25 g's if I had that money to spend on a budget sports car I would probably do a Mustang GT for a couple g's more.. not forgetting the 370z isn't to far off either. Considering the second hand market a 350z for a recreational car is a bargain. Yea at the end of the day you could swap a *UZ-** engine in there... but why would you buy a brand new car to engine swap it? I just think the major problem with the FT-86 is the price point. Its just not a justifiable buy for the package, that price range and choice of motor.. nah. I guess they tried to stay true to the original AE-86 with a NA four banger... but by today's standards.. they should have slapped a turbo on there for that price rang to at least be a viable option with whats out there. But... this is just my opinion.

U R so right. There are too many cars, new or used for that price. If the car had a turbo or was priced at 19k to start then yes. I would actually get a Hyundai Genesis Coupe or Velostar turbo, Mazda Speed3 for that price. Used, anywhere from the 350/70, G35/37, STi, EVO, etc. Also, the looks are not all that impressive. If Toyota really made a proper car to really represent the AE86 they would have got back with Yamaha, built a screaming 4 and let it go.
Saw a 12/13 Mustang. Love love love the lighting, but its a Ford.
